When I was in Cuba, this last spring I met a real nice guy, not the kind of fisherman you meet sometimes and you wished they never showed up. No, an english gentleman, Matt and his flyfishing buddy Tim. We were in the middle of nowhere, where the mosquitos were as numerous as the fish we had the luck to play with… Today, grabbing my laptop as if it was an gigantic aspirin to fight my New Year’s eve hangover, I open the new Catch Mag issue and (at last…) I found Matt Harris photos, they are so beautyfull they carried me instantly back to Cuba and my hangover desappeared in a sec ! In his interview Matt is exactly who he is, a nice and caring man. But #15 is not all about Matt, as usual you’ll see amazing pictures and don’t miss the Tapâm special editing !!! You’re going to die for that film !!! (If you come to the Paris Fly Fishing Show, 4,5,6th of feb., Daniel Goez, who made the film with Jan Bach Kristensen,will be with us to present the film with clips and a slideshow to explain how they shot it !). Quand j’étais à Cuba au printemps dernier, j’ai rencontré un mec vraiment sympa, pas le genre de ceux que vous regrettez d’avoir sur votre chemin, comme ça peu hélas parfois arriver…Non, un gentleman anglais, Matt avec son pote de pêche Tim. Nous étions au milieu de rien, là où les moustiques sont aussi nombreux que les poissons avec lesquels on avait la chance de jouer… Aujourd’hui, attrapant mon portable comme si c’était une aspirine géante pour combattre ma gueule de bois du Nouvel An, j’ai ouvert le nouveau Catch Mag et à ma grande surprise je suis tombé sur les photos de Matt Harris, elles sont si belles qu’elles m’ont instantanément transporté à Cuba et que ma gueule de bois a disparu ! Dans son interview, il est exactement qui il est, gentil et attentionné. Mais le N°15 n’est pas que sur Matt, comme d’habitude il y a des photos incroyables et ne ratez pas le montage spécial de Tapâm !!!! Vous allez mourir tellement ce film est bien ! (Si vous venez au salon de Paris les 4,5 et 6 Février, Daniel Goëz qui a réalisé le film avec Jan Bach Kristensen, sera sur notre stand et présentera des extraits du film et un diaporama expliquant le tournage !!!). En parlant de Tarpons et de Cuba, ne ratez pas les sublimes photos de Brian O’Keefe… Ne ratez pas les Noir&Blanc de Colin Archer ! Comme d’habitude, un magazine de folie, un numéro qui me fait dire: bordel de merde ! Qu’est-ce que je vous devant mon clavier ???!!! Je devrais être à la pêche !!! Encore merci, les amis !!!
