When I was a kid I used to go climbing in the Alpilles or in Catalunya, everywhere cliffs were calling me. Patrick Edlinger was our star, he was the first one to go “free climbing” where nobody else did. Then there was this film shot by Jezan Paul Janssen, “La vie au bout des doigts” “Life by the tip of your fingers” and it changed everything, everyone started to see rock climbing as something different and cool.
