LE LOT OF BASS

Fred Miessner – see Lure Fishing school in Paris – is also the boss of Black Bass France, the biggest largemouth and smallmouth bass fishermen association in France. One of the legendary spot for bass is in the south, the name of the river says it all : Le Lot !

Fred was always telling me about Jacques Bordenave, this local pioneer in bass fly fishing. Last fall Fred went fishing with the man and at some point even manage to catch a bass on the fly !
