Maybe you’ve heard of Marc Boesch, our buddy who guides in the French southern Alps of the Mercantour, in Italy, in Slovenia, Mexico or New Zealand, well, actually you’ll find him where his talent to connect people with good fish can be put to good use. He sent us a little mail to tell us about a product he works with and likes.
So yeah, he’s a Loop pro team member. But I’m not, and I’ve used those lines in Slovenia, and I agree with what he says. Here. I had to say it.

My dear Mouching men,
since the beginning of this season, I’m lucky enough to have my reels loaded with Loop OPTI STREAM lines (in WF4, 5 and 6).
A little technical reminder about the lines’ profile. The Opti STREAM feature a very short head, with lots of weight in the first yards (8 to 9,5 m according to the line #). Consequently, you’re very soon on the running line, and you know it because the line’s color changes there.
With very little line out, it’s easy to load the rod, wich allowed the least experienced of my clients to feel confortable even in the first casts, and to fish with some precision. Despite of the head weight, the line are still very stealthy in the pick up an lay down phases. They roll cast like a breeze.
And since I’m on it, a couple of bonuses. First, they’re really slick. Second, the easy to shoot profiles minimize false casting and allow for a stealth when attacking a fish.
Go on and test them, you’ll love them!!!
See you,
Marc
