You like ice skating? I love it, but when it comes to have the feeling of not controling anything and feel your feet going in one direction and your body in another, I hate it. It’s a feeling we often face in rivers that have a slippery bottom. To be confident, to have a steady foot is a must for fly fishing, it allows you to concentrate on the fish rather then how you are going to manage not to fall in the water. So far, we had the choice to have studded soles…but it some places it was not enough.
