When I was a kid, trees were my second favorite place in the world (the first was, and will always be, the water’s edge). There was, in my aunt’s garden, an awesome apple tree who offered between its main branches a cool spot to build a tree shack. I’m growing old now, but I still dig the idea to climb up a tree and sip tea between its branches. And if you get to see a river from up there, it’s even better.

What is extra cool with these Dom’up contraptions by Trees & People is that they preserve the trees you install them on. Deep green. It costs an arm and a leg, for sure. But it’s good inspiration.
