La Piave y il Cismo

Right there, up North from Venice, on the other side of the Slovenian border, are two rivers you want ot go and fish, La Piave y il Cismo, with clear blue waters filled with trout. Of course you want ot land in Venice and rent a convertible, drive up north, don’t take the motorway, it’s too boring, get lost in the little villages and stop on the way for a plate of Bigoli! Then with a full stomach you can drive up the moutain, and turn on the radio to listen to Mina, I know it’s old school, but what a voice and what a character! You can also pick some feathers from her dress to tie your flies! Italia, arriviamo!
