I’m a guy who buys everything and anything as long it’s it fly fishing related. But for this one, I just could not let it sleep in the shop and I had to have it!

Here is a fly angler’s diary, the kind of angler who writes about everything happening by or in the river. The water’s temperature, the time that this famous hatch of blue winged olive started and so on. I know that are a lot of these journals, but I was so pleased to be able to get my hands on this one! I even remember that French Fishing Federation had published one when I was a kid. But this one has been designed for the most avid fly fisherman existing (quite the one I’m not).

For the record, it was written by Mark Koenig and Paul Peterson in 1993. A must-have for the serious fly angler! But beyond the capture book, you can also create your tying sheets, or classify the hatches  you can see (place, time, duration of the activity …). The diary of the fly fisherman was therefore the essential useless thing I absolutely did not need.
