They are now available, the Simms Intruder, and they are designed especially for wet wading. So if you are fishing in rivers that are not too cold and you like to wear shorts insted of waders, those shoes are made for you! You, the lucky ones who are fishing in New Zealand, Australia, or even in the southern states or wherever the waters and the wader are warm enough to aloud wet wading! Especially made with an integrated neoprene sock that will work as a diving suit, trapping the water between the sock and your body and warming it so you’ll feel comfortable! But that’s not all of it, the neoprene sock also works as a guard and prevents debris and pebbles to get in your shoe! They are tough built to allow you to treck, jump from rocks and walk the rivers! As for the shoe itself, it comes in two colours, the beige and orange one that has a Vibram® sole and the black and orange one that has a vibram® and felt sole, you can screw cleets on both of them. But what’s better than that film fromTrident Fly Fishing showing Brandon Hill from Simms, to explain us what those boots are all about!
