Eel River, California

First of all it’s a slap on the face, how did we do that, how did we make and let that happen? The Eel River in California. That’s its story, the story of a recovery, a recovery from a destruction that took us (humans) not even a centhury to acheive, a hundred years to destroy something that was there for thousand years. Thanks to California Trout the river is now doing much better and the fish is coming back. But the Redwoods are gone forever. Cupidity. We can always say we didn’t know, but it’s a lie, we always know that if we take too much, we’re killing it.
