A Gyeonji is a Korean traditional rod, a short wand ending in a delicate double-helix structure, a very ancient and wonderfully simple form of reel. Jung-Hoon Park guides us in a way of fishing that is three hundred years old. Direct connection with the fish, beautiful feelings in the middle of the stream… One should imagine the line diving deep into the shadows of time. Through the pull of the fish rushing, one may feel the ghosts of a long gone past, an era without carbon or hydrocarbides, whithout greenhouse effects.
