I was slowly driving down the river, I had left the main road a mile away, I was driving really slow, the engine was almost silent, I could hear the gravel crushed under the wheels. It was the last day of the season, I had spent most of the days out on the river and I liked to take that trail with my car. By the opened window I could feel the western breeze coming in, the leaves on the poplars, shook and made a metallic sound, they were already almost yellow, fall was already knocking at the door. It was not cold yet but I parked in a sunny place, just by the river. The warmth of the sun on my face made me think how nice it is to be here. I heard a deer in a distance, the first of the season. Soon the forest will turn on fire. I looked at the river, and turned on the radio. Creedence Clearwater Revival was playing. Cold could come, I was ready.[youtube=https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OAFrfw8kSj8&rel=0]
