This film is short but it’s a beauty. Here in France we can never fish for trout after mid September, the law says that trout are begining to reproduce and that we should leave them alone, at the same time it’s the date where hunting seasons starts so you cannot be torn with a terrible choice “fishing or hunting”. I remember the first time I went to Montana I drove down the Yellowstone river into Livingstone. On the way I stopped to look at the river, it was late october, it began to snow and the river wa boiling with trout trying to catch snowflakes. I’ll never forget that. Blizzard and Browns.
