The Wild Inside

In Arizona, since 1971, the federa government has captured more than 300 000 chevaux sauvage, mainly to be slaughtered but others are being broken and trained in  holding facilities.

In arizona there are more than 40 000 inmates, 30 of them are considered with Lw escape risk”. For them there is a window to freedom, sometimes a door. Their job? To break those wild horses. But it’s much more than a job, it’s a glimpse of freedom that for us is natural and for them is more precious than anything else.
