Polarity – Fly fishing and philosophy

Fly fishing can be as thrilling as it can humbling, and as defeating as it can, addictive. In the words of Alan Watts .. “life is not a conflict between opposites, but a polarity.”

When I looked at that film the first time, yes I watched it several time, i could not beleive what I was hearing, Alan Watts on a fly fishing film, it’s bliss, especially that excerpt from The Nature of Consciousness, but this is not all, the music is perfect and the film, the shooting is exactly what we needed to watch, almost close to perfection. But do we need perfection? We don’t, perfection is an endless quest for fly fishermen, perfection is when you feel right and everything feels right in place too. Watch this gem!
