Tsaatan doesn’t sound like a famous streaming platform, an action movie actor or a soccer player. No, Tsaatan is a pure fishing film by Zefix Flyfishing.

This could be the trip of a lifetime. Markus Müller, founder of Zefix flyfishing, takes us with him and his crew deep into Mongolia. It’s going to take a lot of patience to get to the ultra-modern lodge in the middle of nowhere. And yes, there are no roads or paths out there. To get there, you have to take a “cuckoo” and then a boat up the river. But then, you’re away from it all. You’ll have plenty of time to admire the magnificent scenery in this unspoilt natural setting. Patience is also required to catch one of the taimen that live in these waters. Some of the gang have waited four fucking days. Enough to make you question yourself. But fishing is part of the game. And when you see the size of the fish and the power, you’ll understand that it’s worth being patient. This film is a must-see on the big screen, and not only is it beautiful, it’s got a cool soundtrack. Have a great weekend!
