John Gierach is probably the most famous writer when it comes to speak about trout and fly fishing.
Without having the deepness of a Jim Harrison, Gierach’s writings are no doubt nice to read because they bring you back your own memories.
His books are a blend of essay, biography but mostly narrative stories of fly fishing ! Like Thomas Mc Guane, another famous american writer (and crazy fly fisherman too !) said : I take Gierach’s book whenever I can’t go to the river..
