The season is over in many places around the world and we’re already looking for new places to fish this winter, we’re tired of flyfishing shows, tying flies or watching endlessly fly fishing films who are mainly frustrating us. So, those who can afford it are thinking about destinations on the other side of the world: New Zealand, South Africa, Chile, or, most often, Argentina! That’s perfect timing! We’re off to the province of Neuquen, not just to fish, but to follow in the footsteps of Alfonso Soria, a Spanish fly fisherman who is not only passionate about what brings us together, but also about protecting rivers, which goes hand in hand with the former! It’s beautiful and different. Enjoy the movie (on the big screen, por favor)!

Amor Al Río is a documentary that explores the relationship between fishermen and nature and highlights the importance of preserving it through the first-person account of Alfonso Soria, a Spanish fisherman, member of the NGO “AEMS, Ríos Con Vida” and author of several articles promoting knowledge and conservation of river ecosystems.
It was filmed entirely in Villa Meliquina, Neuquén, in Argentine Patagonia, the home of Fly Fishing Máster.
