Wow! How many hours listening to reggae! At the time in the mid 70’s Richard Branson had just started Virgin Records and went for a trip to Jamaica to sign local artists and make a deal with Front Line Records. My brother was on board with Branson since they were chilhood friends and he was representing Virgin Records at its early beginin in France. THey came back with a record deal and many vinyls. That’s how I discovered reggae music in my early teens. Mon frère était du voyage et en avait rapporté des dizaines de disques. C’est comme ça que j’ai découvert le reggae et Jimmy Cliff. Early memories and long drives listening to Jimmy Cliff on a tape in the car.
Peace.
