 Tolminka river, maybe my favorite river in Slovenia, small stream, hard to find, one pool after another in a small canyon, each pool has plenty of trout in it, rainbows are up, than brownies and marmota on the bottom… it’s always fun to fish there! But it’s a small river and 2 fishermen is the perfect number. I recommend you use a #4, you’ll have fun. After Most na Soci, drive up the Idrija for 2 km, than on your right is the Tolminka. drive another km and park whenever you can, you’ll find your way down to the river.
