When you pick a fish and that it goes wherever it wants, in order not to loose it, you have to follow up or down, but never get to the point where that fish could take your line to do whatever it wants with you and eventualy break free!

I has happened to all of us, we spott a trout, a nice one, we focus into putting all our fly fisherman’s skill to make the perfect cast so the fly comes to it naturally in order to have a chance that it takes it. It starts with observation, to see what the fish is doing when it feeds, the rythm of the rises, there is always a rythm, it becomes like a gentle music, 1, 2, 3, 4 – feed – 1, 2, 3, 4 – feed -. Once you’ve figured out the right pace, it’s up ot you to make the perfect cast, but watch out, it ain’t over yet!

Get ready for some action, sometimes we focus so much on the rise and setting the hook tht we tend to forget that that massive fish you had on sight is going to try to break free, whatever it takes! I simply love that film, it’s like watching rodeo!

Another gem from the Jensen’s!
