Luckily we had our correspondent Baptiste Conquet at the Saint Etienne Flysow aka SANAMA the first flyshow of the season and this one happens only once every couple of years!
This weekend November 13 & 14 was the first flyshow since a couple of years because of COVID, the SANAMA!
This show is “the place to be” if you wanted to see all the friends you had seen in a while!
We saw :
- Fly fishing gear, more than you needed with major brands that make you dream about the weekend that you’ll be catching fish with friends in Aveyron (where we are from)
- Travel agencies that will take you to the other side of earth where you’ll fish for Tarpon, Peacock, Bonefish, Dorado. All those species you can catch on the fly!
- Amazing flytyers having a show so you can see crazy flies on a big screen!
- Resellers and flyshops where you can get gear to tie your own flies!
- A central space where you can cast, get together and try all the rods you want before you melt your credit card!
- And a bar with a keg and food to make the day a little nicer!
Well, it was a hell of a show!
