I have in my rod collection, a deadly weapon that I only use when I’m fishing for Permit or even for Tarpon when I want to have fun. It’s a quick and smooth rod at the same time. My friend Juan who’s a guide in Punta ALlen calls it “La Maquina de Guerra” The War Machine… it says it all, it can send a crab or a tarpon fly at 60 ft with out any effort, just by pulling once on the line… this marvel is a Thomas & Thomas Horizon II #10, well designed, nicely hand made, precise with a real personality! So, when I’m by the fire I like to go through the new catalog and dream that I’ll get my self some other Thomas and Thomas rods, because they are AWESOME!

The rods are fantastic, and give you a lot of pleasure fishing. . . . . . . . . .BUT . . . . . in case something happens. . . . . and you have to return your rod for WARRANTY repair. I’m waiting for 3 month’s already and the rods are still not returned. Bad communication, bad service.
I would stick with LOOP if you have T&T budget!

All rods are time consuming when it gets to repair…no matter the brand…never less than 3 month wahtever the maker is…
Sorry to let you down on this one, 1 phonecall to LOOP in Sweden and your replacement section is on it’s way
Beside’ s that, I’m happy to accept a 3 month’s repair time, but please keep contact with your customer when they have questions. Nothing so anoying as being let down after you send an email and get no answer back.
