We hate them but at the same time we like them, it has to do with the size. Small, they are provide excellent pools, and we like to use them as marks, so we can say, “after the dam”, or ” below the dam”, but when they don’t have a fish path or ladder, a terrible block on the way upstream for migratories.  Today, Cop21, is supposed to hit the coal industry with a sledge hammer, nuclear plants are frightning everyone and windmills are not landscape friendly, as for solar energy, we have to wait a little before it really brings juice. So we are left with water power… it’s complicated.
