Hello Le Mouching followers,

I have been attending the EWF (Erlebniswelt Fliegenfischen) in Fürstenfeldbruck, Bavaria, which is probably the largest fly fishing show of its kind on the European mainland.

During the show, I was approached by Mrs Smaranda Neagoe and her husband Liviu who are heavily involved in a youth fly fishing camp in Romania.

Here’s the message the Neagoes were sending us to give an overview of their operation:run

«I’m organizing at the end of June a CHARITABLE fly fishing camp for 20 local children (between 7 and 14 years old) in the Apuseni Natural Park (Romania). It is a part of our project for sustainable regional development based on responsible fishing tourism and aims not only to teach the younger generation of inhabitants how to fly fish and fly tie, but also how to practice this sport as an ecotourism-activity.

Moreover, we want to give them the opportunity to have fun in the nature also after the end of the camp, so we’ve decided to offer the kids the whole gear as a gift. They are the future of the region and we NEED YOUR SUPPORT in gathering the gear they need and the funds for the organization. teaching-river

For those interested, a great way to take part to our camp would also be through an “adoption”-like action: each participating child needs accommodation, food, fly tying materials and wading boots (most of the other gear has been already offered by private persons and by companies). For all these and the entire 4-days-camp the costs would only be approx. 100-120 EUR/child.
So if you’re willing to be part of the camp, it can happen on a very personal level, by adopting one participant and make it all possible for him/her! You could leave a personal message, set up a connection right with the child/his family and support him/her through paying the costs for his/her participation (of course, it isn’t a must). We, on the other side, will tell about you and your personal implication in every way and on every dissemination channel we have.
We already have 4 “adoptions”: 2 from Germany, 1 from Switzerland, 1 from Romania and 1 from Luxembourg. groupe

We’ll post every news on the Event’s Website (https://www.facebook.com/events/545973479101640/) and make everything transparent.
Interested in being part of it? I’ll be very happy to get your messages either here on FB or at info@flyfishingromania.com

Looking forward to do something great with some of you!
Thank you and tight lines!
