When it’s so hot you can’t even get to the river (if there’s any water left) without getting knocked out, and you have to spend your days in the cool, you might as well treat yourself and spend almost an hour following Jakob, Mikael and their buddies on the river they’ve been fishing for over 30 years, the Gaula.

It’s not the sexiest film we saw, but it’s a film about friends who’ve been fishing together for years, it’s a film where there are salmon, it’s a film that exudes happiness and joy from every pixel of your screen! Just listening to Jakob, Mikael, Håkan, Roland and Jonas talk about their adventures on this river is a pleasure. Plus, it’s THE Gaula!
