Last year, the whole Mouching crew went fishing in Belize. We met some really nice people, among them was a guy from Iceland. Although we were fishing bones and permits all day long on the flats, every evening (after a few drinks) he couldn’t stop talking of his country and how the fishing was amazing, he was so thrilled he always ended singing, his eyes were shining and he ended speaking in Icelandic. We coulnd’t understand a word but we felt like it was the right place to go. So far we didn’t make it yet, but April Vokey, Naoto & Yoshi Aoki did, with Fly Nation. On a rencontré des mecs vraiment sympas, parmis eux, un Icelandais. Bien qu’on pêchait des bones et des permits toute la journée sur les flats, chaque soir (après quelques verres) on ne pouvait pas l’arrêter de parler de son pays et comment la pêche y était incroyable, il était si enthousiaste qu’il finissait toujours par chanter, ses yeux brillaient et il se mettait à parler en icelandais. On ne comprennait pas un mot de ce qu’il disait mais on avait le sentiment que c’était un bon endroit pour aller à la pêche. Jusqu’à maintenant, nous n’avons pas eu l’occasion d’y aller, mais April Vokey, Naoto & Yoshi Aoki did, y sont allés, avec Fly Nation.
