At one point in my tumultous and long life, I was adopted as Britton. A lot of Aveyronnais people wouldn’t understand that, but I  immediatly felt at home in Brittany when my friend Patrick Guillemot took me fishing along the Ster Goz or the Aven before it leads to the tourist trap Pont Aven. I loved it there, Brittany is so breathtaking, we would listen to “Les Ogres de Barback”, eat oysters like pigs and laugh all night long. Trout were more numerous that one would expect, and the rumors of polluted water kept away a lot of fly fishermen leaving those amazing rivers and streams just for us… It was fantastic. This is the Brittany that I miss. But here, I’ve found it again, and I’m happy.
