Last week, my buddies from Ain, sentinels of the BRA (see the UPRA website), have evidenced on video the impact the disastrous managment of the river output by EDF: very fast and important variations of the river level, that move the fish and invertebrates on the shallow areas when the water level rises, and leave them dry-ground when the level drops… obviously, everything dies, but that’s ok, we have way too much trouts and gaylings here in France. Of course, nothing stops during the spawning season.

This is today’s fight of the AAPPMA of the BRA, make EDF sign an acceptable convention for the spawning season (if you read French, read this and this), to put an end to those terrible water level variations. For the Ain River can keep its fabulous trout populations.

To all the AAPPMAs of the BRA, huge thanks from le Mouching, we are at your sides buddies!!!
