The Efftex 2013 that just ends in Vienna last week-end gave the Best Fly Rod price to the Vapon Red. This new rod is built by Redington who have developped, according to the american brand, a new technology called X-wrap.

But the real revolution is the grip designed by golfers : what a tremendous idea and great giant leap ! I believe every exotic fly fisherman or any one who had to blindcast big flies all day will applause. No more sweating, sliding due to solar cream and certainly more strength to shoot.

For once the rod looks really unique with this colourful grip. Incredible how you instantly want to grab it and give it a shake !! Whe haven’t tried yet but we are dying for it…

The Vapor Red will be available in august 2013 from 5 to 12wt line. Retail price around 300$.
