Ornette Coleman is now playing for the angels. He opened the door of free jazz in the early 70’s, a opened door who’s draft sent a few people away, while others rushed in, thrilled by a new oportunity to discover a new path for Jazz. Here’s one of my favorite piece, Lonely Woman. I hope you’ll enjoy it. Here’s the version that was recorded at the French Jazz Festival of Vienne in 2008. Thank you Ornette.
