A hairy nymph, that sounds kinda like a joke of some sorts. But it’s clearly not. Even if you’re lucky enough to live in a place safe from those beasts from hell,  it’s still a good idea to have a couple in the box, just in case the trouts go crazy on chironomids. And Davie McPhail, as masterful as ever, provides us with a lesson in minimal tying. Not a single unnecessary thread turn. It keeps fascinating me.
