Do you know anything better? Fishing with friends is the ultimate bond, nothing compares to it, it’s what we are all looking for because it makes the trips better and even the fish bigger! Sometimes, I wish my non fishing friends would be fly fishing, we could have fantastic talks by the water. But, look at those guys that Hooké has found, they have been fishing together for 38 years! Longer than the average age of our readers! And always the same river, the same trip. They are so lucky! Thanks Hooké to share that friendship with us!

Meet Marc, Denis and Roy, tree fisherman that started going to the Reserve faunique des Laurentides in their twenties. They fell in love for the adventure aspect of fishing the Lac Brulé sector. They take care of this tradition that has be part of their lives for the last 38 years. The fishing is incredible and after so many years their group has caught monster trout but these enthusiasts remind us that what is most precious in their four decades of fishing is friendship.
