Because storms are fascinating, because nature in its grandeur is powerful and astonishing. Here’s something that will blow you away.

One day in Southern France I was driving to Gorges du Tarn to go fishing those big trout that come out in the summer in the evening. As I arrived in the little village of Le Massegros, on my way down to Les Vignes, I stopped the car, in front of me on the other side of the gorge on Le Larzac plateau, a wall of pitch dark clouds was rolling down! I was fascinated, I got out of the car and looked at that splendor, it was a hot sumer afternoon, but the light was going down as if it was night, the wind got stronger, the sound it made in the boxwood, was amazing, than some fat thick drops of rain started falling here and there making almost the same sound as falling eggs. Lightnings were flashing in the darkness as the sound of thunder was so strong I could feel it in my chest. It started pouring as I got in the car, the smell of earth was filling the air. The rain was like a drum on the roof of the car, the wind got so strong I felt I had to leave, but I was like hyptnotized. I love storms.

Watch that film full screen with sound on! It’s amazing!
