Tragic rescue: three SNSM (French Search & Escue) heroes died last Friday

Last Friday, three members of a SNSM team died in the Miguel storm. They were at sea to rescue a commercial fisherman’s boat in jeopardy. The SNSM is a non profit association providing life-saving intervention all along the 5800km of French coasts. The volunteers brave any kind of weather to save people all year round. We have boundless admiration for them.

If you sail along our coasts, please consider supporting them here. One day, their orange boat may be the very best thing you ever saw in your life.

Allez les sauveteurs on y retourne et on y retournera encore tant qu’il y aura des bateaux et des hommes.
